Salima Jare Naser has brought up two sons and a daughter since cancer and diabetes killed her husband. Their situation is perilous. Son Husain, aged 13, walks an hour to school for his sixth-grade class because the family cannot afford the bus fare. His brother Hidar is five. Daughter Fatema is married at 16 and lives with her husband.
Salima tells us: “Life is very difficult. We do not have anything. I do not have enough money to help my orphan children because they need everything and I always suffer with my heart every day. We only have hope because The Orphan Trust is doing such a good job giving us food for a whole month. Thank you so much, we pray for you every day.”
