Every cent of your donation will be used to buy a nourishing monthly ration for an orphan family in Iraq. All our administration costs are met by The Asaria Family Foundation , including all warehouse-related expenses, as well as logistics and distribution costs. We began by gathering information from local NGOs about families who were not already receiving aid. Our Orange Caps team visited each orphan family to assess their needs and prepare a file for each recipient. Each family is looking after at least two and up to eight orphans. As we expand, we will be introducing software to track that every orphan family receives what they need. This will help us improve our monitoring and evaluation process to better serve humanity at the click of a button.
Each ration pack contains the components to help an orphan family cook nourishing meals for a month. We include: 5 kg of sugar; 8.3 kg of Indian basmati rice; 1 kg of Sri Lankan tea; 2.5 kg of powdered milk; 3.3 kg of daal Turkish lentils; 5 kg of white beans; 3 boxes of orange juice; 4 litres of sunflower oil and 4 kg of tomato paste. Every product meets our high quality standards.
